Set of 20-centimeter glass straws, supplied with a cleaning brush. The glass is neutral in taste, so a gin and tonic or lemonade tastes exactly as you made it. Intended for bars and restaurants that want to move away from disposable plastic.
Why glass works behind the bar
A glass straw does not impart any flavor or absorb color, even after being rinsed dozens of times. You can immediately see whether it is clean, which is harder to check with metal straws. The 20-centimeter length suits long drinks and tall cocktail glasses; for short serves, use the 14-centimeter version. Cleaning and storage
The included brush runs through the entire tube, allowing you to remove syrup or fruit pulp residue immediately. Rinse the straw shortly after serving, brush it through, and leave it to dry upright; this prevents water from remaining inside. It can also go in the dishwasher, provided you secure the straws so they do not move around and knock against the glassware. Store them upright in a cup or among your other cocktail supplies so they remain within easy reach. For the glassware itself, use a separate glassware brush.
