This round serving tray from Bar Professional has a diameter of 27 centimeters and is made of plastic with a non-slip top layer. It is the smallest model in the series: light enough to carry with one hand and small enough to maneuver between tables. Intended for drink service in cafés, on terraces, and for room service.
The small tray in practice
At 27 centimeters, it holds approximately four long drinks or six cups of coffee. That may not seem like much, but for terrace service it is often exactly enough: you walk faster, can pass through narrower spaces, and keep one hand free to take payments. The low weight makes a noticeable difference to your wrist at the end of a shift. If you work indoors with larger rounds, combine this tray with a larger size from our serving trays.
Maintenance
Plastic is dishwasher-safe, so the tray can simply go in the rack after your shift. Be sure to rinse off spilled syrup or liqueur immediately: dried sugar makes the non-slip layer smooth, and you only notice it when a glass starts to slide. Leave the tray standing to dry and do not use a scouring pad. If you place it on the bar between rounds, put a non-slip mat underneath. For taking payments at the table, bill trays are more convenient than a serving tray.
