This Bar Professional Speakeasy set brings together everything you need: a wooden smoker, a burner, and wood chips, all stored in a single wooden case. You therefore do not have to search for the right components separately, and you can set up the complete station on the bar in one go. The whole set measures approximately 28 x 22 cm, keeping it compact enough to stand beside your mise en place.
How to smoke a drink
Place a small amount of chips in the smoker chamber, position it over your glass or carafe, and ignite the chips with the burner. Within seconds, the space above the drink fills with smoke; let it sit for half a minute to a full minute, then serve immediately so the aroma is still lingering in the glass when the guest picks it up. The longer you let it infuse, the stronger the smoky character will be. When working with whisky, mezcal, or aged rum, it enhances the woody notes already present. In an Old Fashioned or a Negroni, it creates a distinctive accent that keeps guests coming back.
Maintenance and ordering
Allow the smoker to cool completely before cleaning it. Tap out the ash and wipe the wood dry afterward; the components are not dishwasher-safe and will last longest with manual cleaning.
