This transparent wine cooler from Bar Professional keeps your bottle at the right temperature while letting you see what’s inside. The cooler is made of clear acrylic, 25 cm high and just over 20 cm in diameter, so it fits a standard wine bottle with plenty of ice and water around it. Because the material is transparent, you can see at a glance whether more ice needs to be added. Acrylic is also much lighter than glass and won’t break if the bucket happens to slide off the table, which is especially useful on a patio or during a busy party.
Serving at the table
A bottle chilling in plain sight at the table does more than just keep the wine cool: it invites guests to have another pour. Place the cooler next to the table or on a stand, fill it halfway with ice, and add cold water; this combination cools the bottle faster than ice alone. Cleaning and storage
Wash the cooler by hand in lukewarm soapy water and dry it with a soft cloth; acrylic cannot withstand the heat of a dishwasher and can be scratched by abrasive sponges. Do not use harsh cleaners, so the material stays clear instead of becoming cloudy.
