The Barblade from Bar Professional is a flat wooden bottle opener with a stainless steel core. Hook the edge under the crown cap and lift it off in one motion; the wooden model feels warm in the hand.

You do not lever it the way you would a classic opener; instead, slide the flat side under the cap and tilt it upward. This is faster and requires less effort during an evening full of bottles. You can find other versions among the bottle openers.
Maintaining the Wood and Steel
Wood is not dishwasher-safe: rinse the opener and dry it immediately afterward to keep the handle looking neat. The steel core does the actual work and stays sharp. The opener is part of the Bar Professional series. Tip: keep two within reach, one in your pocket and one in a fixed place behind the bar.
