If you work with your own bitters, tinctures, or infusions, you want a bottle you can find by touch at your station. This Bar Professional Speakeasy bitters bottle comes in a retro style: crystal glass with a vertical relief pattern that catches the light and gives you a firm grip, even with wet hands. With a capacity of 23 cl, it is large enough to get you through a busy shift without having to refill it. On top is a stainless steel pourer that delivers an even dash with each movement, so you can measure by feel instead of guessing.
How to use it
The 23 cl capacity makes this bottle particularly useful when you use one flavor frequently: a homemade aromatic bitters, a citrus tincture, or a concentrated syrup that features in several signature drinks. The transparent glass shows how much is left and how dark your infusion has become, which is useful when you keep several bottles next to one another. Place them in a fixed order and label them around the neck, and you will pick the right one even in dim light. A few dashes determine the balance of an Old Fashioned, Manhattan, or Negroni, and that is precisely where a pourer that dispenses predictably matters.
Care
The bottle is dishwasher-safe. Wash the pourer by hand so the seal remains smooth and no residue is left in the tube. If you change flavors, first rinse it with warm water before refilling. The bottle is part of the Bar Professional series and matches the other bitters bottles.
