Pasabahce Timeless

The series includes dozens of shapes, so choose according to what you are serving. For wine, there are 32 and 33 cl wine glasses, the latter also available with a gold rim. For sparkling wine, there is a 17.5 cl flute and a 16 cl coupe. For soft drinks and long drinks, tumblers of 21, 34.5 and 35.5 cl and long drink glasses of 30 and 45 cl, with the larger one also stackable. In addition, there are shot glasses of 6.2 cl, liqueur glasses of 11.6 cl, tea glasses of 25 and 31 cl, amuse-bouche glasses of 23.6 cl, a 27.5 cl ice cream coupe and a 1.4-litre water jug.

Please note: Timeless is also available from RCR, but that is crystal glass from a different brand and a different series.

The relief pattern catches the light, so these glasses look best with brightly colored drinks. In the 45 cl long drink glass, the light shines through the tonic, which is why the tall shapes are often used as a gin and tonic glass .

Do not fill a 33 cl wine glass beyond its widest point, so you can still swirl the wine. Fill the 17.5 cl flute in two stages: first pour a little into the bottom, let it settle, then top it up; otherwise it will foam over. The 25 cl tea glass has no handle, so hold it by the upper rim.

Timeless is made from tempered soda-lime glass and is dishwasher safe. The relief pattern sits in the glass itself and cannot wear off, but the versions with a gold rim are the exception: wash those by hand, because gold turns dull in the machine over time.

Place the glasses apart in the rack, because a relief surface catches on a neighbouring glass more easily than smooth glass does. Limescale also shows up more in the grooves, so polish them while they are still slightly warm.

Looking for the same look but in different glass? Then take a look at the vintage glasses, where more cut and faceted series are grouped together. You can find the full range from this brand at Pasabahce. Want to know what belongs in such a tall glass? The gin and tonic and the Aperol Spritz give you the proportions, including the amount of ice you need to keep such a tall glass cold.
