The smallest size, 15 cl, is intended for orange juice at breakfast or a dessert in a glass. At 22 and 25 cl, you have the classic water glass that suits almost any table setting. Use the 32 cl size for soft drinks and beer, and the 35 and 42 cl sizes for long drinks with plenty of ice. Because they share the same design language, a table with three different sizes still looks calm. In a hospitality business, allow for at least two sizes per place setting and order an extra box rather than cutting it too close. Otherwise, view the broader selection water glasses.

For water at the table, pour it to about two finger-widths below the rim so it does not slosh when being passed around. The 42 cl glass is large enough for a cuba libre on ice and for draft beer. With a tequila sunrise the straight sides are an advantage: the grenadine sinks neatly to the bottom, and you can see the color gradient from top to bottom. The 15 cl glass makes an appearance again at the end of the meal as a small serving glass for mousse or panna cotta.

Tempered glass withstands temperature changes that regular glass cannot handle, so a freshly rinsed glass filled with ice immediately will not be a problem. Everything is dishwasher-safe, even at high temperatures and in a machine that runs all day. Only stack the glasses when they are dry, and no more than six high; otherwise, they may get stuck. A glass brush removes buildup from the bottom, even from the narrow 22 cl glass.
