The difference between the two sizes is mainly in the height, not the diameter. The 35-centiliter long drink glass is narrower and taller, so carbonation escapes less quickly and your drink stays fizzy longer. The 32-centiliter tumbler is shorter and wider, making it more comfortable to hold when drinking something without carbonation. Choose Funky if you want a pronounced wave and Soul if you prefer something more subdued, because they are otherwise identical in shape and capacity. In a tall glass, the ratio of ice to drink stays better balanced: the ice stacks vertically and cools the entire column instead of just the bottom layer. That makes the 35 centiliters suitable for a Mojito, in which the mint and lime need room, and for a Cuba Libre , where you pour the cola down the side of the glass to preserve the carbonation. Stir with a long bar spoon until the outside of the glass fogs up and the ice has visibly settled.

The wave pattern sits on the outside, so the inner wall stays smooth and rinses clean easily. The glasses can go in the dishwasher without concern. Where it goes wrong is in the drying, because water stays behind in the hollows of the relief and leaves limescale streaks as it dries slowly. So take the glasses out of the machine while warm and rub them dry straight away with a dry cloth.
