Jupiler
Jupiler is Belgium's best-selling beer: a bittersweet pilsner at 5.2%. The beer comes from Jupille-sur-Meuse, near Liège, and is brewed with malt, corn, water, hops, and yeast. You may know it from football, as Jupiler is the main sponsor of the Belgian professional league.
Belgium's pilsner
Jupiler comes from Jupille-sur-Meuse, a district of Liège. The Piedboeuf brewery is located there and now belongs to AB InBev. The name Jupiler comes from that place name. Jupiler in its current form has existed since 1966 and is Belgium's best-selling beer. It is the main sponsor of the Belgian professional football league.
Jupiler is a pilsner: a clear, golden-blond, bottom-fermented beer. It is brewed with malt, corn, water, hops, and yeast. At 5.2% alcohol, it is just slightly higher than the 5% found in many Dutch pilsners. The brewer calls the taste bittersweet: a light bitterness with a soft, fresh finish.

How to pour Jupiler
Pilsner is best served cold and fresh, with a nice head. You taste more from a glass than from a can.
Well chilled
Put the cans in the fridge well in advance. Jupiler is best at around 3 to 5 degrees.
From the glass, with a head
Hold the glass at an angle and pour along the side. At the end, set the glass upright for a two-finger head. The head keeps the carbonation in the beer.

With bitterballen, cheese cubes and nuts. The cold bitterness refreshes your mouth.
Barbecue

The right glass for Jupiler
Pilsner is best enjoyed from a slim, straight glass. It keeps the head looking great and the beer cold. For a 25 cl can, a 33 to 36 cl glass is just right, with room for the head. These are the glasses we recommend ourselves.
