Swiss vodka in a colorful outfit
Trojka is a vodka liqueur from Diwisa, a family-owned distillery in Willisau, Switzerland. Its base is Swiss vodka, blended with fruit, sugar and coloring to create a sweet 17% liqueur. Each color is a flavor: Pink with red berries and cranberry, Orange with orange, Sun with yuzu, peach and a hint of rosemary. There are also Red, Green, Blue and Black, among others, but in the Netherlands, Pink, Orange and Sun are the easiest to find.
Trojka is especially popular in the Dutch student and party scene. Trojka Pink with Sprite is a standard long drink in many bars, and the bottles are passed around ice-cold as shots. At 17%, it is considerably milder than pure vodka, making it easy to drink neat. The large 4.5-liter bottle with pour pump is the party version.

Trojka Pink
The best-known in the Netherlands: sweet red berries, cranberry and a hint of aloe vera. Pink in color and sweet in taste.
Trojka Orange
Orange in a bright orange bottle. Fresh and sweet, like an orange popsicle with fizz.
Trojka Sun
Yuzu, peach and a hint of rosemary. The lightest and most sophisticated of the three; delicious as an aperitif or spritz.
Trojka Pink 4.5 liters
The giant bottle for the student association or party, with pour pump. Good for more than two hundred shots.

Sweet strawberry, raspberry and cranberry, like a bag of red candy. You can barely smell the vodka.
Sweet and smooth
Thin and sweet, with a slight freshness from cranberry. The 17% alcohol gives it a little kick, nothing more.
Short and fruity
A short, sweet finish that calls for ice, Sprite or another shot.

Three ways to drink Trojka
Trojka is best served ice-cold. Put the bottle in the freezer or refrigerator and use plenty of ice in the mix.
Ice-cold as a shot
2 to 4 cl straight from the freezer in a shot glass. Sweet, fruity and mild; at 17%, the bottle doesn't freeze and the shot goes down easily.
