Jägermeister Orange
Jägermeister's herbal recipe with a fresh citrus twist: Sicilian orange, mandarin, and citrus oil. Fruitier and less bitter, ice-cold as a shot or served long with tonic.

Jägermeister with a citrus twist
Jägermeister Orange comes from Mast-Jägermeister in Wolfenbüttel, home of the familiar green bottle too. It's the same well-known herbal liqueur, enhanced with natural ingredients such as Sicilian oranges, mandarins, and citrus oil. The herbs are still noticeable, but the orange takes the lead.
That makes Orange fruitier and fresher than the original, with less bitterness. At 33%, it's also slightly lighter than classic Jägermeister at 35%. It's strikingly bright in the bottle and works just as well ice-cold as a shot as it does mixed with tonic or energy drink.
At a glance
Orange up front, herbs behind
Orange and mandarin
A fresh, fruity aroma of orange and mandarin, with Jägermeister's familiar herbs underneath.
Fruity and spicy
Sweet and fruity, with a spicy undertone. The citrus makes it lighter and fresher than the green bottle.
Subtly bitter
A smooth finish with subtle bitterness. Less medicinal and less licorice-like than the original.
Jägermeister Orange flavor profile served ice-cold. With tonic, the orange flavor comes through even more.
Ice-cold, with tonic, or as a bomb
The manufacturer recommends serving Orange ice-cold as a shot, but also says it's suitable as a mixer. The citrus makes it easier to mix than regular Jäger.
Ice-cold as a shot
Keep the bottle in the freezer and pour 2 cl into a chilled shot glass. This makes it thick and smooth, so you taste the orange first, followed by the herbs.
Shot glasses →Jäger Orange & tonic
40 ml of Jägermeister Orange in a balloon glass or ice-filled highball glass, topped with 120 ml of tonic and a slice of orange. The tonic's bitterness and the citrus in the bottle complement each other.
Gin and tonic glasses →Orange Bomb
Half-fill a sturdy tumbler with energy drink, drop in a shot glass containing 2 cl of Jägermeister Orange, and drink it in one go. Fruitier than the regular Jägerbomb.
