Licor 43 Chocolate
Inspired by Spain’s chocolate-making tradition: the vanilla and citrus of Licor 43 Original with sustainably produced cocoa and cream. A creamy limited edition to enjoy neat or use to make a chocolate cocktail.

Chocolate, Spanish style
Licor 43 drew inspiration for this bottle from Spain’s chocolate-making tradition. Licor 43 Chocolate combines the familiar taste of Licor 43 Original with cocoa from 100% sustainable cultivation and cream. It’s a limited edition, so it’s not always available.
At 16% ABV, it’s much lighter than the 31% Original and, like Horchata, Crème Brûlée, and Speculoos, is one of the creamy varieties. The Original’s vanilla and citrus are still there, but chocolate takes the lead. That makes it an after-dinner liqueur: serve it neat and chilled in a small glass, or in a cocktail that calls for crème de cacao.
In brief
Chocolate up front, vanilla behind
Cocoa
Chocolate and cocoa take the lead, with the warm vanilla of Licor 43 in the background.
Sweet and rich
Sweet and rich, like a liquid chocolate dessert, with a hint of citrus that keeps it light.
Chocolate and vanilla
A smooth finish where chocolate and vanilla linger together.
Flavor profile of chilled Licor 43 Chocolate. Over ice, it’s less sweet, and the cocoa comes through more clearly.
Three ways to serve Licor 43 Chocolate
Chocolate is a dessert in its own right. Serve it chilled, over ice, or warm in hot chocolate.
As a dessert shot
30 ml of chilled Licor 43 Chocolate in a shot glass, optionally topped with a dollop of whipped cream and some grated dark chocolate. Dessert is served.
Glass: shot glass →Over ice
50 ml over two large ice cubes in a tumbler. The melting water makes it lighter and brings the cocoa into sharper focus.
Tumblers →In hot chocolate
30 ml of Licor 43 Chocolate in 150 ml of hot chocolate, served in a mug or an Irish coffee glass. Chocolate on chocolate, with a hint of vanilla.
