What is Tanqueray Rangpur?

What exactly is Rangpur?

Rangpur is an exotic citrus fruit from India. It has the tartness of a lime and the juiciness of a mandarin. Tanqueray first released this gin in 2006 by adding Rangpur, along with ginger and bay leaves, to its premium London Dry from 1830.

So, on top of the four classic botanicals, there are three new ones: Rangpur itself, ginger, and bay leaf. The result is a fresh, citrus-forward gin with a spicy, warm undertone of ginger. At 41.3%, it’s slightly lighter than the London Dry and excellent for long drinks.
