What is Jameson 18 Years?

Where time and tradition come together

Jameson 18 Years is a blend of three distinctive distillates from Midleton, aged for eighteen years in oak casks. This is followed by a final aging of at least six months in fresh American oak. The fresh wood adds another layer of toffee and spice to a whiskey that has already spent a long time in the cask.

The biggest difference from the Original is age and strength. While the green bottle is aged for at least four years and sits at 40%, the 18 Years is much older and bottled at 46%. It's more complex and powerful, but retains the soft finish Jameson is known for. Not a whiskey for mixing, but for a special evening or as a gift.
