Ketel One Vodka
The wheat vodka from the Nolet genever family of Schiedam. Fresh citrus, silky smooth and with a lively tingle: neat over ice, in a Martini, a Bloody Mary or a Dutch Mule.

Ketel 1 or Ketel One: genever or vodka?
It's an easy mix-up. Ketel 1, with the number, is the 35% young genever found in almost every Dutch pub. Ketel One, written out in full, is the 40% wheat vodka created by the same Nolet family from Schiedam in 1983, which became especially popular in America. Both names refer to the distillery's oldest copper still. If you're looking for the genever, you can read all about it on the Ketel 1 page.
Ketel One Vodka is made at the Nolet Distillery by combining two techniques: distillation in copper pot stills, the classic kettles, and modern distillation. It is a wheat vodka: its base is wheat grain spirit, along with aged grain eau de vie. This gives the vodka fresh citrus aromas and a silky-smooth texture with a crisp, lively tingle.
In brief
Fresh citrus and a crisp tingle
Fresh citrus
A clean, fresh nose with citrus aromas. No sharp smell of alcohol, just a lively freshness.
Silky smooth and lively
Silky in texture, with a crisp, lively tingle on the tongue. Dry and bright.
Citrus through to the finish
The citrus carries through to the finish, which stays clean and fresh. This makes it ideal for dry cocktails.
Flavor profile of ice-cold Ketel One Vodka. Ketel 1 jonge jenever is grainier, with a hint of juniper.
