Which Starlight size suits white wine?
The 41 cl glass is the logical choice for white wine. It is small enough to keep the wine cold and still has enough room to swirl. For a full-bodied white with more weight, the 51 cl works better.
Are Stölzle Lausitz Starlight glasses dishwasher safe?
Yes, on a short glassware programme. This is lead-free crystal glass, which takes a machine wash well. Place the bowls in the basket so that the stems never touch, because that is where nearly all breakage of stemmed glasses begins.
How many glasses are in a set?
Every model in the Starlight range comes in packs of six. That lets you reorder by shape without changing the rest of your table, and two boxes already set a table of twelve with the same glass.
What is the difference between 67.5 and 82 cl?
The 67.5 cl is a Bordeaux shape: taller and slightly narrower, so tannin can settle. The 82 cl is a Burgundy shape: wide and round, made to capture aroma in wines where scent matters more than structure.
