The tumblers run from 20 via 26.6 and 29 to 41 cl. The 20 cl is the small water size on the table, the 29 cl the all-rounder for juice and soft drinks, and the 41 cl the size for spirits with plenty of ice. The 26.6 cl is taller and therefore more of a compact long drink. The long drink glasses start at 29 cl and go via 31 and 35 cl to 47 and 65 cl. The 35 cl exists in two shapes: a regular one and a High-Ball that is narrower and taller. That narrower shape holds carbonation better, which counts with tonic and cola. The 65 cl size comes in twenty-fours, the rest in twelves.

You build a long drink in the glass itself, not in a shaker. Fill it more than halfway with ice, pour the spirit over it, top up with the mixer and give it one calm turn with a long spoon. The 35 cl High-Ball is the logical size for that: tall enough for a full bottle of tonic alongside the gin, narrow enough to hold the bubbles. For a Cuba Libre the regular 35 cl works better, because a wedge of lime has to go in as well. The 47 and 65 cl call for drinks you lengthen, such as a Mojito in a more generous serve.

Titan is made of tempered glass. After forming, the glass is cooled quickly, which puts the outer layer under tension and makes it more resistant to knocks and to sudden changes in temperature. That last one happens exactly when a glass comes out of a hot machine and is filled cold straight away. The rim is also heated separately so that it does not chip. The whole range can go in the dishwasher, including at professional temperatures.
