First work out whether you need bowls or tumblers. For red wine there are two sizes ready: a 50 cl bowl for everyday bottles and a 69 cl burgundy glass for wines that need room to open up. White wine calls for the 38 cl bowl, small enough to keep the wine cold. The 26 cl champagne glass is roomier than a narrow flute, so you pick up more of the aroma. The tumblers of 41 and 42.5 cl take water and soft drinks and differ mainly in height, so measure your cupboard before you choose.

The fill line in the tumbler shows where to stop pouring, which works especially well when you are serving a table and don't want to gauge each glass. Fill a wine bowl to just below the widest point and leave the space above it empty for the aroma. The 26 cl champagne glass is roomy enough for an aperol spritz or a hugo spritz, where you add the ice first, then the liqueur and only at the end the prosecco so the fizz stays.

MioVino is made of Tritan crystal glass, the lead-free glass from Schott Zwiesel reinforced with titanium and zirconium. That keeps the rim and stem clear rather than dull after hundreds of wash cycles. The glasses may go in the dishwasher, provided you place them apart from one another in the rack. Let them dry upright and finish with a linen cloth.
