The bowls run from 37.8 to 77.3 centilitres. The 37.8 cl is the white wine size: small enough to stay cool. At 51 cl you have an all-rounder for red and white alike. The 67.5 and 77.3 cl are meant for big reds where you deliberately want room. Beyond wine there is a 31 cl martini glass, generous for a shaken cocktail with a head of foam, a 36 cl tumbler for whisky or a mixed drink over ice, a 19 cl port glass and a 25.2 cl flute. All models come in twelves.

With the large bowls, pour to just below the curve in the wall, and the aroma is channelled straight towards the rim. The 31 cl martini glass calls for a chilled cocktail without ice: put the glass in the freezer beforehand and serve a Dry Martini or an Espresso Martini straight after shaking. The 36 cl tumbler takes a large ice block, handy for an Old Fashioned you drink slowly. Serve port lightly chilled in the 19 cl glass.

The range is drawn from lead-free crystal glass with a thin rim, so the wine barely runs across glass before it reaches your mouth. That does make the glasses more sensitive to knocks than thick-walled pressed glass. They are dishwasher safe, but place them apart in the rack and do not let the bowls touch. Pick stemware up by the bowl rather than the stem to avoid twisting.
