Choose by wine style, not by colour alone. The Beaune burgundy glass of 65.7 cl has a rounded belly and a rim that turns inwards: that is the shape for pinot noir and nebbiolo, where the aroma does all the work. The 48.6 cl Beaujolais glass is slimmer and suits fruity red wine served lightly chilled. For white wine the 37 cl Gavi is deliberately smaller, so the wine stays cold until the glass is empty.
