Samif is a 44.5 cl tiki glass with an exotic relief pattern covering its entire height. Its size is tailored to tropical cocktails made with crushed ice, such as the mai tai and piña colada. Suitable for use in hospitality settings and at home.
Mai tai and piña colada
Both classics require space: a mai tai contains approximately 12 cl of liquid, followed by crushed ice to the rim, while a piña colada is blended and therefore needs more volume. With a capacity of 44.5 cl, you can serve both without adjusting the proportions. For layering, a long bar spoon is useful, and for serving, use a straw that reaches the bottom. Garnish with a sprig of mint or a slice of pineapple; too much garnish can make the glass difficult to hold.
Care and additions
Rinse the glass with lukewarm water immediately after use, as dried syrup sticks to the grooves in the relief pattern and will later require a soft brush to remove. Do not stack the glasses inside one another: the relief edges may damage each other. If you want multiple sizes on your menu, the 33 cl and 53 cl options from the tiki glasses collection are a logical match. Cocktail picks are convenient for securing the garnish.
